In her own words, Charné is a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, disciple, disciple-maker and grandmother. Her great passion for the Lord and His kingdom is evident in every role she takes on. She currently pastors at 3C Ministries in South Africa with the love of her life, Bert. They have three sons, Pearson, Damian and Tristan and three daughters, Caitlyn, Jordan and Madison.

3C was founded in a school hall in the capital city of Pretoria in 2000. Charné, a qualified chartered accountant, left a successful business career to join her husband, Bert, in full-time ministry in 2002. Starting with only a few people, the church has grown to over 25,000 members and 2,000 cells. With more than 40 services across the different campuses, satellite sites and prisons, many are reached with the gospel every weekend.

Charné founded and developed the NPO, Bright Smiles Bright Futures, which conducts a number of nationwide community based initiatives such as Adopt-a-Scholar, collecting stationary, blankets and school photos; buckets of hope, collecting buckets with household and food necessities for a family of four; and Compassion for Children Project, which currently feeds 5,000 children at their schools on a daily basis.

Charné has a tremendous heart for women and heads up the entire women’s ministry. With an all-consuming love for God, her husband, children, the church and the lost, she has made it her mission to preach, teach and heal wherever she goes, purposely winning souls and making disciples.
