Bishop Rosie O'neal

Bishop Rosie O’neal is a passionate teacher and preacher of the Gospel! She serves as the founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia (Pronounced Coin-o-nia) Christian Center Church as well as a Bishop that oversees 22 state-side and international churches in the Koinonia Fellowship of Churches and Ministries, Inc.

Many say that Bishop O’neal’s “keep it real” approach makes her relatable to people from all walks of life. She has a strong desire to see people come to know Christ in a real way and experience His love.

From being adopted, to being molested, to being a cancer survivor since 2012, all of these things have caused Bishop O’neal to intentionally live a life that is full of purpose and centered on Christ. She has dedicated her life to loving people while starting Koinonia in 1989 with seven members and growing the ministry currently to 2,500 members in an area where the total population is less than 95,000.

Bishop O’neal is the established author of 10 books including her latest book entitled “Surplus Grace” which was released when she was one of the main speakers for the 2018 International Pastors and Leadership Conference hosted by one of her spiritual fathers, Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Bishop O’neal is a philanthropist. She has a heart to help people get a “hand up” in life. She established a program called “Bishop’s Bootstraps” where she provides scholarships for people to go to college, housing for homeless veterans and resources for the differently-abled population with special needs.

She is married to Toiriste (pronounced Tor-ist) and they serve together in ministry at Koinonia. They are the proud parents of two grown sons, TJ and Jonathan O’neal.
